Through the Black Market

Stranded deep inside East Germany with no official support, the team turns to the only infrastructure that still works in a fractured state—the black market. Hidden networks of smugglers, defectors, and opportunists run beneath the official machinery of the GDR, and if anyone can help them move undetected, it’s these shadow brokers.

Guided by Reiner—and under constant suspicion from Graves—Jimmy and Klara descend into a world of bribes, forged documents, and backroom deals. Their destination: a covert arms market in the ruins of a decommissioned Soviet train yard, where cash, weapons, and secrets change hands without loyalty or conscience.

But word spreads fast, and Atlas has ears everywhere. A deal for safe passage turns deadly when an arms dealer recognizes Reiner—and tries to collect on the bounty. Gunfire erupts, and what began as an exchange becomes a fight for survival.

The team escapes, but barely. Worse, they realize the black market isn’t just a place for escape—it’s part of Atlas’s supply chain.

They’re not just navigating East Germany. They’re moving through enemy territory.
