She was previously Senior Clinical Program Lead at Genentech, Inc., in San Francisco. Genentech is widely regarded as one of the world’s most successful biotech companies with a strong oncology franchise including the best-selling breast cancer drug Herceptin.

Dr. James Warren is a geologist with 15 years of multi-commodity experience spanning greenfield prospect generation to operational roles in open pit and underground projects.Dr. Warren holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Western Australia focusing on a mineral systems approach to exploration targeting and was also part of the Mineral and Hydrothermal Geochemical team at CSIRO.Dr. Warren was Exploration Manager at Echo Resources and oversaw the exploration strategy and growth of Echo’s resource base to over 1.8 Moz and the eventual $240m takeover by Norther Star.Following his time at Echo, Dr. Warren was instrumental in establishing the private enterprise Tali Resources Pty Ltd, a spin out from Agrimin Ltd. At Tali, Dr. Warren was critical in establishing the geological framework to mineralisation in the West Arunta Orogen and drove project generation and acquisition. Ultimately, Tali reached a $55m farm-in agreement with Rio Tinto to search for IOCG deposits in the West Arunta, while WA1 Ltd successfully listed on the Tali assets not subject to the Rio Tinto farm-in.

On this podcast, Tim interviews, - Dr Liz Dallimore, Liz is a research & development, innovation and commercialisation specialist with over 20 years’ experience across Australia and the UK. Prior to joining Argenica Therapeutics, Dr Dallimore was the Director of the WA Data Science Innovation Hub, tasked with working across WA businesses to establish innovative data science projects. Dr Dallimore has also held senior roles in management consulting across Australia, most recently as KPMG’s National Director of Research Engagement and Commercialisation. Prior to this she held senior roles with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Dr Dallimore is a co-founder of medical device company Inspiring Holdings, sits on the AusBiotech WA Committee and is a non-executive Director of NERA, a Federal Government Growth Centre. Dr Dallimore has a PhD in Neuroscience jointly completed at Oxford University and the University of Western Australia and has worked as a neuroscientist at the Australian Neuromuscular Research Institute (now Perron Institute). In 2020, Dr Dallimore was recognised as one of Western Australia’s Top Women in Tech.

On this podcast, Tim interviews, - Simon Eley, Simon is a solicitor with considerable experience in the resource sector. Mr Eley was the founding director of Egan Street Resources and led the acquisition of the Rothsay gold project. Egan Street was acquired by Silver Lake Resources in 2019 for an implied value of $72 million. He has held the chairman role of several of ASX and NASDAQ listed companies. Mr Eley also led the team that acquired the Central Murchison Gold Project and subsequently became an executive director of Aragon Resources Limited, where he managed the progress of Aragon’s core asset, the Central Murchison gold project. Mr Eley’s experience also includes international oil and gas operations, as well as iron ore and coal projects, capital raisings, commercial agreements, dispute resolution, corporate management, strategy, acquisitions and divestments. He is currently the Managing Director of PhosCo Ltd and Non-Executive Chairman of Westar Resources Ltd.

On this podcast, Tim interviews Ben Kuzmich, Mr Kuzmich is a professional geologist with a proven track record of exploration success throughout Ontario, Manitoba, and the Yukon. His accomplishments include the delineation of the E-Zone at Barrick’s Hemlo mine, where he managed a $20M drill program, and where his reinterpretation of geologic models resulted in a 23% improvement in underground head grade for 2019. Outside of Hemlo, he led the discovery of the Little Wing occurrence at Alamos’s Lynn Lake project and numerous REE pegmatite, precious, and base metal occurrences throughout the Superior Province. He completed his MSc thesis at Lakehead University on the highly endowed, critical mineral-rich Ring of Fire in northern Ontario, and his undergraduate thesis on S-type granitic intrusions. Ben has been involved in the exploration of the Georgia Lake Pegmatite field and has been contracted to produce numerous 3D geologic models of LCT pegmatite deposits.
