Recognizing Biblical or Modern-day Miracles can Bring Awareness of G-d

Experiencing, witnessing or learning of open miracles from the One True G-d can be deeply convincing. For example, the miracles of the exodus from Egypt brought two famous idol worshipers to accept the Noahide Commandments. Likewise, modern-day miracles are bringing idolaters and even atheists to believe in G-d and give up their false beliefs.

“Heaven Fearers” in the Roman Empire and Their Connection to the Second Holy Temple

In this audio lesson, the Director of Ask Noah explains a phenomenon in time of the Second Temple (350 B.C.E.-70 C.E.). In many places, there were monotheistic people known as “Heaven Fearers” among the pagan Romans. As the name implies, they were Gentiles who were adhering to the one true G-d and observant of the Seven Noahide Commandments. Therefore, their spiritual loyalty was to the Jewish Sages and the Holy Temple.

The Seven Noahide Commandments are Rooted in the Truth of Torah

This audio lesson provides an overview of the Seven Noahide Commandments. It then discusses the historical authenticity of the Torah scroll which comprises the Five Books of Moses. In turn, the ability to read, understand and translate the Torah scroll depends on the Oral Torah. Moses received the Oral Torah from G-d at Mount Sinai.

The Foundation of all Wisdom: G-d's Perfect Unity and the Absolute Truth of His Being

The Mishneh Torah was written by Maimonides (Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon, 1135 – 1204 C.E., known by his acronym Rambam). It begins and ends with themes of G-d’s absolute unity. The remainder of the 14 volumes in the work are dedicated to teaching the details of all the 613 Jewish commandments and the 7 Noahide commandments from the Five Books of Moses. Maimonides begins the first section on "Foundations of Faith" by concisely explaining how G-d's unity and the ultimate truth of His being are known from the Hebrew Bible. Understanding these concepts and incorporating them into your life will help to bring the world closer to the open revelation of G-d's Presence in the Messianic Era.

Message to the World from the Lubavitcher Rebbe about the 7 Noahide Commandments

In this short audio recording, the Director of Ask Noah International reads the “Message from the Rebbe,” published in the magazine Lubavitch International, Vol. 2, No. 1 (Summer 19’90). The Rebbe explained that G-d is the Essence of good, so everything that occurs, even natural disasters, must ultimately have redeeming good. The negative inclination within people is also a “mechanism” by G-d’s design, to provide free choice for humans to apply effort to do good and to appreciate goodness. The Seven Noahide Commandments are the Divine moral code that predates all human codes. They form the only moral code that has timeless and universal application for a good and objectively (not subjectively) moral civilization.

Introduction to the Noahide Commandments and the Web Site Asknoah.org

In this introduction, the Director of Ask Noah International explains that the Noahide Code of seven basic Divine laws was given by G-d to Noah and his children after the Flood, when G-d made the Covenant of the Rainbow. This code assured Noah and his children, the forebears of mankind, that humanity would not degenerate into a jungle again. These laws, which command the establishment of courts of justice and prohibit idolatry, blasphemy, homicide, incest, robbery, and eating the limb of a live animal (cruelty to animals), are the foundation of all true morality. And they extend by laws derived from these into all aspects of moral behavior. These 7 commandments were also given as part of the Torah that Moses received from G-d at Mount Sinai. The Torah is the eternal source that obligates the continuing observance of the Noahide commandments by all Gentiles. When studied properly, these laws are found to encompass a wealth of ethics and spirituality, which gives meaningful purpose to the life of any person.

Blueprint for a Better World: The Seven Laws of Noah

The Noahide Code of seven basic Divine laws was given by G-d to Noah and his children after the global Flood.
