The anxiety and stress from racism has affected people of all races and ethnicities, especially African-Americans! It is anticipated that our discussion will encourage teachers and counselors of adults to explore the psychological impact of racism in African-American students of all ages.  The media continues to place great attention on George Zimmerman and the murder of Trayvon Martin and the many broken hearts over the verdict. Political and media hype continues shining light on the negative statistics associated with unemployment, education, and poverty of African-American males.
