Episode 100: Jerone Davison, Native Grill, Phoenix May 14, 2024

Amazing and fun event! This was a great, grass roots, localized event, where Jerone Davison, candidate for Congressional District 4 met with the People. Davison is the ONLY candidate taking his message straight to the people, because it is the People he intends to represent. Because this was a local crowd, everyone got to know Jerone just a little more! Visit his site: https://jeroneforcongress.com/ From the Davison site: "Jerone is a former Arizona State University student athlete and NFL player who travels the country sharing inspiration, passion, and faith. His unifying speeches full of truth, faith, and freedom of this country are memorable and moving. He spent his childhood growing up in the deep south in the small town of Picayune, MS. It was there that he and his family fell upon rough times, and Jerone dropped out of high school. Sometime later, Jerone was able to enroll into Solano Community College in Northern California, in which he broke school rushing records as a player on the college's football team. The once 'drop-out' became an inductee into the school's Football Hall of Fame. He accepted a full-ride scholarship from Arizona State University for football and was selected by the Los Angeles Rams. Frequently, as Jerone talks to youth, he retells his story and his example of how the American Dream can be achieved."

    Episode 99: National Divorce

In today's podcast, we ask, "Are we experiencing a national divorce?" We begin by observing the increasing tendency of Americans to align with like-minded individuals and they are doing this in a different way. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s suggests that conservatives should consider moving to predominantly Red states. This is completely unrealistic, and is in her character of gaslighting, just as bad as the big government Republicans and Democrats. No, conservatives are simply recalibrating their business practices, and are going into buildings that don't force you to wear 'safety gear,' and other absurd demands. We feel that somewhere between 25 to 30 percent of Americans are beginning this transition. We then examine the political landscape, particularly focusing on the remarks by Tucker Carlson about the decline of self-governance. This is coupled with the bipartisan reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which has sparked a debate on the balance between privacy and national security. This legislation was passed despite concerns over its potential to infringe on personal privacy, highlighting a significant division in priorities among lawmakers. This has caused even more challenges for the Biden Administration. Trump has capitalized on Joe Biden's decline in the polls, despite his inability to increase his own numbers, that is if you even believe the polls. See: CNN Poll Numbers & Trump and reflect on Off the Press's Take. The discussion extends to the cultural sphere with references to former Runaways singer, Cherie Currie, who has openly criticized the political establishment, echoing the frustrations and skepticism prevalent among voters today Cherie Currie Denounces the Establishment. On the economic front, there is a noticeable shift towards alternative assets like precious metals and cryptocurrencies, as individuals seek stability in an uncertain economic climate: Inflation and Asset Management. We also explore the implications of demographic changes and migration, discussed in the context of comments by Stephen Miller on the societal impacts of large-scale immigration. Additionally, the rise of alternative social media platforms like Gab and Steemit illustrate a move towards digital spaces that support free speech and offer economic incentives through blockchain technology, suggesting a shift towards a parallel economic system. We also highlight the great healthcare divide, and discuss the following article: Tracey Beanz: COVID Retrospective.
