Strong high pressure has Arizona running fifteen to twenty degrees hotter than normal for late February. We're knocking on the door of record books.
Central Arizona wakes up to 57 degrees around 7 A.M. By 5 P.M., you're hitting 87. That's a thirty degree climb in ten hours. Winds stay gentle, shifting from south to west-southwest around 1 P.M. Tonight drops to 59 under clear skies. Tomorrow? Even warmer. Ninety degrees and full sun.
Down in Tucson, you start at 52 around 7 A.M. and peak at 85 by 3 P.M. Winds shift from south to west around 11 A.M. Tonight falls to 54. Thursday climb ...
