I was invited to a special gala night at the King's Theatre to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang—and after not going to the theatre for nearly 40 years, I didn’t quite know what to expect. Considering much of the cast is made up of amateur performers, the level on display was seriously impressive. I highlight a few key performances that really stood out, including brilliant comedic moments and exceptional vocals—especially from Stephanie Aes, who delivers an unforgettable performance as Truly Scrumptious.
