Life Changes, Downsizing, and Geek Culture Shifts

Steve marks the beginning of Project Altered Geek (episodes 171–200), diving into major personal shifts: a new media job, preparing his house for sale, and deliberately downsizing his geek collection. He discusses moving away from excessive swearing, rediscovering nostalgia with his kids through Legos and classic TV, and his honest assessment of streaming services—finding little reason to maintain multiple subscriptions beyond Netflix. The episode also covers Girl Meets World's cancellation, Bryan Cranston as Zordon in the new Power Rangers film, and the Star Wars Rebels mid-season trailer featuring Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul on Tatooine.
