The Limit of AI in Education
In this podcast our group discusses the concern of limits of AI in education through K-12. Some solutions to AI in education we discuss are AI blockers to prevent use to students, knowing when it is appropriate to use AI in the classroom, and lastly knowing which age groups to tailor AI learning apps towards. We use feedback from real teachers and how they implement AI or if they disagree with the use of AI in a classroom completely. Along with two research studies providing the pros and cons of AI use in a classroom. As well our group discusses what issues we found we AI in a classroom and our opinions on what should be allowed and what should not be allowed in certain classrooms. We then narrow down our episode by getting more in-depth with the age range to be elementary to hone in on AI among the younger children and why we think AI is helpful but not the best solution for all classrooms.
