Welcome to Week 8, the final message in our Road to Emmaus series.
The risen Christ opened the Scriptures to the disciples on the road to Emmaus, revealing that the entire Bible points to Him. That encounter didn't end on the road—it continued through the ministry of faithful witnesses like Luke and Paul, who proclaimed the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
In this final teaching, we'll explore:
- Why the Road to Emmaus is foundational to understanding Scripture.
- How Luke faithfully recorded eyewitness testimony.
- Paul's calling to proclaim Christ to the Gentiles.
- The connection between Luke 24 and Acts 28.
- How the Gospel moved from Jerusalem to Rome—and continues to transform lives today.
The Bible is not merely a collection of ancient writings. It is the living Word of God, preserved by the Holy Spirit and centered on Jesus Christ. From the road to Emmaus to Paul's imprisonment in Rome, Christ continues to reveal Himself through His Word.
