Indigenous people have been hurt by the church, so how can the church play a role in healing? Two Indigenous women share their story of bridging the gap between their Indigenous and Christian identities. We talk about the ways that trauma continues to impact Indigenous people in Canada today, the impact of residential schools and the Indian Act, and why many Indigenous people want nothing to do with the church. Rochelle Bragg and Linda Martin are finding community, healing and hope in God and inviting all of us, Indigenous and non-Indigenous people alike, to join them on that journey.
