Ishka's unbridled childhood growing up in the iconic town of Byron Bay inspired him for a life of travel and adventures.

From early day travels with his mum to multiple country solo explorations, he was always following his heart and call to adventure.

To navigate it all, he used the inner guide of what he didn't want, more than what he did as evidence for answers.

He went back to school later in life to study film and combined his first assignment with one of his first long form surf trip with a hometown mate, which ended up growing into producing some of the best surf films of the decade.
