Chatham County residents can use the food waste drop-off program to reduce the amount of food waste sent to landfills and create a valuable product instead. The food waste drop-off program is available at four Collection Centers, for residents with a current decal, during the pilot program. Lisa Price spoke with Shannon Culpepper – Chatham County Recycling & Education Specialist about the program and how it worked:
