Good morning. West Virginia. I'm Michael Nally.
That overnight rain left us about a sixth of an inch before clearing out. The cold front's already swept through. And now we're watching clouds break apart west to east through the afternoon.
Here's how it plays out statewide. Southern West Virginia wraps up the wettest conditions around mid-afternoon, topping out near 61 degrees. Central areas see lighter showers through late morning, then partly sunny skies push in with highs reaching 67 degrees. Up in the Northern Panhandle? Just a brief sprinkle around 7 A.M., then you clear out fast with a high near 62 degrees.
Tonight, mostly clear statewide. Lows drop to the mid-40s. Perfect sleeping weather with a light southwest breeze.
