That rain drumming on your roof last night? Nearly half an inch across the state. And it's still coming down.
In the next 24 hours. Flood Warning until 4 P.M. For Wood and Pleasants counties. Flood Watch for northern parts until 1 P.M. Creeks are swollen and roads are disappearing under water. If you see flooding, turn around. Don't test it.
The Northern Panhandle is getting hammered this morning. Rain keeps falling through the day as temps hit 69 degrees. Fog's thick too — visibility down to a quarter mile in spots until around 10 A.M. Take it slow out there.
Central West Virginia sees a few rumbles of thunder early, then climbs to 76 degrees by afternoon. That's 46 degrees warmer than normal for early March. Your daffodils are confused.
