In Many Parts / One Body #1, we begin exploring 1 Corinthians 12 and what it means to truly belong to the body of Christ. Paul reminds us that the same Spirit works through every believer, giving different gifts and opportunities to serve for the common good. Our value doesn’t come from what we contribute—we don’t belong because we contribute; we contribute because we belong. God has a place for every person in His Kingdom and work for each of us to be part of, even when it stretches us beyond what feels natural or comfortable. And as we experience that belonging ourselves, we have the opportunity to invite others into a community where they can know Jesus, be known by others, and make a meaningful contribution to something bigger than themselves.
