Good evening. Washington. I'm Aaron Jolly. That steady rain you heard tapping on the roof overnight left about two-tenths of an inch in the gauge. Step outside now and you'll feel that familiar 46-degree chill, the kind that sticks to your jacket under stubborn gray skies. In the next 24 hours. Here's what's happening across the state. Puget Sound stays locked in the wet pattern today. You'll see rain arriving by late morning, really peaking right around 4 P.M. Highs crawl to about 50 degrees with light southeast winds. Tonight stays mild at 43 degrees as the showers continue. Down in the South Sound, a similar story unfolds. Your rain chances climb after 10 P.M. Tonight. Thursday brings likely rain with highs near 51 degrees. Watch for that southwest wind picking up to around 12 miles an hour. Head east over the Cascades and the whole picture  ...
