That drizzle greeting you on the windshield? Think of it as a trailer for the main feature. A frontal system is sliding inland right now, shoving out the mild, dry air and replacing it with something cooler and much wetter. This pattern isn't a one day visitor. It's moving in for the week.
In the next 24 hours. Step outside in Seattle and you'll feel 49 degrees. Overnight lows barely touched 45. Comfortable enough. But don't get attached. Rain fills in across Puget Sound through the afternoon. Highs top out at 54 degrees with south winds around 6 to 10 miles an hour. That damp chill finds every zipper. Tonight the rain cranks up a notch. Lows hold near 47 degrees.
Slide south to Olympia and Tacoma and it's the same soggy script. Rain all day, 54 degrees, lows settling near 45 tonight.
