Christian, take time today to think of the many people God has used to “disciple” you in your walk with Christ! Consider the valuable investment others have made in you to make it possible for you to follow Christ. In our exposition of Mark 3 we see that Christ instituted and exemplified the ministry of discipleship appointing 12 ordinary men as disciples. Later, His command to them was to follow His example, making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). Mark 3:20-35, highlights the danger of distractions that may keep us from obeying Christ’s great commission. Nothing in this life is as meaningful as being used of God in discipleship.
