Throughout the month of January we’ll focus on prayer and seeking the Lord’s purpose and leading for the new year. The reality is that most of us struggle in our prayer life. Throughout the month of January, plan to take a few minutes each day to read a few pages of the book, paying close attention to the section teaching us how to pray the Psalms. This morning we will consider Psalm 57. Notice that it is a prayer. As we look at the Psalm, we will identify three prayer directives we can use in our own individual prayer lives that will lead us to God’s purpose for our lives.
