Notas del episodio

We live in a culture that often views aging as a problem to be solved and brain changes as a purely medical crisis. Yet, for followers of Jesus Christ, the journey of growing older is a profound and sacred part of discipleship, a season that challenges, refines, and deepens our faith: we are called to embody God’s love in every stage of life. Whether you identify as one who is experiencing brain changes, or as one caring for and loving someone who is, this four-part series is an invitation to move beyond cultural anxieties and instead explore aging and brain change through the hopeful, compassionate lens of our Christian faith.

This session is titled Community Elder Care – a discussion with Eric Zagone, Director of Programs for Charles House, and our own Sonda Oppewal, whose husband Tom Oppewal participated in Charles House programs.
