Society of Reason Introduction to Table Of Contents and Acknowledgements. This episode continues the introductory phase of Society of Reason. It offers acknowledgements for philosophers who have influenced the paper's course, and inspired its writing. Additionally the paper lays out a clear roadmap of what is to come for the paper. It dives into each individual chapter and offers a brief summary of the topic, as well as providing the topic question which will be answered. Whilst the paper is being written these posts will serve as updates but upon completion there will be a link provided in each description to an edited and revised text.

Society of Reason Introduction to Concepts and Ideas. This episode serves as the opener for the society of reason paper. Where the last entry was a trailer or the series overall this one is written from the perspective of an actual paper. The chapter introduces the concepts of Morality, Society, Reason, and Logic, and explains the differences between them. Understanding of those terms and the specific definitions used are key to understanding the paper as a whole. Whilst the paper is being written these posts will serve as updates but upon completion there will be a link provided in each description to an edited and revised text.

[Special Episode Six:] A Unionists Guide to Cognitive Dissonance and The Trolley Problem
Special Podcast Episode Six of the Unionist Central Podcast. This episode takes a look at the notion of cognitive dissonance, and how it relates to morality. This is done by examining two propositions of the trolley problem, and seeing how people's reactions may differ, despite similarities between the two propositions. The video additionally takes a brief look at the history of the problem, and applies the ideas of cognitive dissonance to certain real world situations we may face every day. This video, although giving a good run down of the concept, does not act as a complete or in-depth analysis of the trolley problem. Its focus is on teeing up the first chapter of Society of Reason, which will focus on the source of morality. Special Podcast Episode Five of the Unionist Central Podcast. This is Part Three of Three videos in which I take a look at the Political Compass. I took the test and responded to each of the questions. Although the test itself is not the best metric for political standing it is a fun activity and the questions can be thought provoking. Apologies for the poor editing apparent in this video, it was hard to cover all of the bases with a longer piece that wasn't scripted. Special Episode Two of the Unionist Central Podcast, This is another Solo Episode run by Andrew Gould. We are taking a look at War due to the recent US withdrawal of forces from Afghanistan. We discuss Nationality and how countries and nations are constructed, and what makes up a nation, such as culture, shared history, and common language. We also discuss international law and how it relates to the social contract, aswell as when a government can break or bend the rules, and if it even should.

[Episode Three:] Taking The 8Values Test Part One
Episode Three of the Unionist Central Podcast. This three part episode is similar in nature to the trilogy of episodes that were taking the political compass test. However, these episodes are on par in audio quality with the expected content of the channel. In the video, I fill out the 8values Test which is supposed to determine one's political standings on four axes that are comprised of 8 total values. This three part episode will follow my responses to the first 35 questions of 70 total, a further episode will cover the remaining 36 questions (question 35 was reached but not answered).
