Eric is the translator of Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa’s, ‘Three Books of Occult Philosophy’, a landmark text in the history of European Natural Philosophy, a subject which Eric assures me includes both Astrology and Magic.
Woven together from a panoply of contemporary, medieval, Arabic and Hellenic sources, Agrippa produced a masterpiece of Renaissance philosophy, much maligned by centres of learning in the centuries since its first publication as superstition and debased necromancy.
