At age four, Nyleen Kay Marshall vanished from a family picnic near Maupin Creek on June 25, 1983. She was last seen playing by a beaver dam, barefoot in a yellow T‑shirt and shorts. Despite extensive searches involving helicopters, search dogs, divers, and hundreds of volunteers, no trace of her was ever found. Years later, anonymous phone calls and a letter from Wisconsin claimed she had been abducted and referenced a girl named “Kay.” Those leads never resolved the case, and Nyleen’s disappearance remains unsolved.
