At Dr. Pillai’s Hope Learning Centers, we help turn barriers into bridges for marginalized children through our innovative after-school program. Shilpa Navenkar, our Hope Center Program Director, is proud to share the inspiring journey of Tanvi, a dedicated Hope alumna.

Tanvi’s story is one of remarkable determination and courage. Raised in a humble family—her father a truck driver and her mother a housewife—Tanvi emerged as a natural leader, advocating for herself and her classmates. Her experiences at the Hope Center empowered her to challenge and change the stereotypes about girls pursuing higher education. Today, Tanvi is pursuing an M.Sc in Chemistry at Goa University, breaking new ground for girls like her.
