Today’s episode is a little different—I just had to share my thoughts on Is God Is by Aleshea Harris. This movie moved me in a way I wasn’t expecting, and I wanted to talk about how it made me feel. I shared why I think the film’s focus on matriarchy in the Black community and centering women’s voices is so powerful.

But seriously? 10 out of 10. This movie is a must-watch.
