She works as a Scientist and a Professor at Universidade Tiradentes in Brazil, and has been a visiting professor at Harvard University, Universidad de Granada and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

She is also the founder of 3D PHARMA, a startup in the field of intradermal drugs to animals.
