Right, so Zohran Mamdani has just taken office and, with one administrative move, made it impossible for New York’s institutions to keep pretending that antisemitism and the defence of Israel are the same thing — and Israel’s political ecosystem is now stuck dealing with that separation whether it likes it or not.
