Notas del episodio
On August 2, 1943, Lieutenant John F. Kennedy displayed extraordinary courage after his patrol boat, PT-109, was struck and sunk by a Japanese destroyer during World War II. Despite his own injuries, Kennedy repeatedly swam through dangerous waters to rescue and lead his crew to safety, eventually helping secure their rescue after six days stranded on remote islands. His bravery, leadership, and compassion later became defining parts of his legacy as the 35th President of the United States. The lesson teaches that true courage means serving others, persevering through hardship, and extending forgiveness—even to former enemies.
