Ever wondered why the emphasis on the creation, and Adam and Eve in the temple? Let's explore apocryphal findings on the importance of creation for worship and ordinances anciently while going through each step of creation. Each creation was made for purpose of sustaining the thing that came next? And what was the last creation? Eve. "Then as His final creation, the crowning of His glorious work, He created woman. I like to regard Eve as His masterpiece after all that had gone before, the final work before He rested from His labors." -President Gordon B Hinckley Through their story, we find the mirrors of Heavenly Father and Mother, and what they would have us to with our own roles in the priesthood: Woman are the portals to morality where we each chose to partake in the fruit so we may know good from evil. Men are the guardians of the covenantal path back to the fruit of eternal life. Neither is complete without the other. A look at the nature of God, how He teaches, and our responsibilities to take charge of our learning. We explore the Midrash, PaRDeS, and prophetic teachings on how God allows us to interpret pure truth through out time, language and understanding. Knowing this about revelation and understanding the traditions that helped shape the Bible and Book of Mormon, we can better understanding how to read and seek knowledge from these texts and from the Spirit. This sets up the rest of the podcast: How deep are we supposed to be looking into these stories? Why does God seem to change or contradict Himself? (He doesn't). How did Eve become so misunderstood?
