The complete list of nominations for the 96th Academy Awards was released on January 23 from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles. Honoring the best films of 2023, ‘Oppenheimer’ leads the nominations list with an astounding 13 nominations. ‘Poor Things’ & ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ follow closely with 11 and 10 nominations respectively. With the cultural phenomenon of “Barbenheimer,” films ‘Barbie’ & ‘Oppenheimer’ will compete against one another in six categories, most notably Best Picture.
