Welcome to the first episode of The Canine Companion Co Podcast. Choosing a dog is one of the biggest commitments you'll ever make, so why are so many of us leaving it to chance? We hire wedding planners for one day, art buyers for a painting, interior designers to pick a sofa, why not for our future four legged companion? In this first episode, we discuss our own journey with our dogs, and how between their stories, and the experience of working in rescue, The Canine Companion Co came to be. We talk about the gap between wanting a dog, and knowing a dog, choosing breeds vs recognising their needs, and how closing this knowledge gap with a little education can change everything - for dogs and the people who love them.
