After World War 2 many Croats fled their country to escape the Yugoslavia regime in hopes to find a new freedom within Australia. However once in the land of OZ, many of these immigrants were targeted and accused of being fascists and terrorists with intent to demonstrate militant action on the people of Australia. Such claims lead to the wrongly convicted "Croatian Six" which is Australia's longest criminal court case in history.

In this segment, Mia will speak out about the impacts that World War 2 , the homeland war and the break up of Yugoslavia had on her family including her Father being suspected by the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) in connection to terrorism. We also talk about some of our travels through this part of Europe and Mia's contribution to the Croatian community.
