Welcome, time travelers. This is the Television Time Machine podcast. I’m Shraddha, your navigator through time and in this episode, we’re going back to the 1920s, when television was still just an idea that scientists and engineers were tinkering with and while comedy was already being perfected on the big screen. Long before TV took over our homes, and way before screens shrunk into our pockets, the blueprint for what would one day make television so iconic was being created in movie theaters.
And at the center of it all were two comedic pioneers who defined physical comedy for generations to come: Laurel and Hardy.
