Good evening. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Winter is throwing one last jab tonight before spring officially takes over. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4 A.M. Wednesday for southern and central Maine. The snow arrives between 7 and 8 P.M., peaks around 9 to 11, then tapers off before dawn. In the next 24 hours. Down on the coast, from Portland through Downeast, you'll see 2 to 4 inches of wet snow. You might see a brief mix of sleet or freezing rain late, but ice accumulation stays minimal. Lows bottom out around 27 degrees in Portland, 31 Downeast. Head inland and it's all snow. Augusta through Bangor picks up 2 to 4 inches with lows near 25. In the Western Mountains, expect 1 to 3 inches before everything wraps up by 2 A.M. Up in Aroostook, this system barely grazes you. You've just a chance of light snow after 11 P.M.
