Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, an arctic front blew through overnight and left the door wide open for Canadian air. That's why Portland wakes up at 28 degrees while Aroostook is already shivering at 12. The front stalled off the Downeast coast, so if you're in coastal Washington County, thick fog is sitting on top of everything until 7 A.M. Watch for icy patches on untreated roads. In the next 24 hours. The daytime story is quiet but cold. Light snow could dust the South Coast between 7 A.M. and early afternoon. Portland tops out at 30 degrees. Head up to Augusta and Bangor. Both stuck around 27. The mountains? Brutal. Highs near 15. The County barely touches 14.
