So rather than walk you through every raid and every season in painstaking detail — telling you the same kind of story five or six times over — we're going to FF if you will. We'll hit the highlights that matter: a gunpowder shortage that stalls the English for a couple of years without the Powhatan ever knowing it, a false peace in 1628 that falls apart within months, and we're going to slow back down when we get to something you haven't heard yet — who, on the English side, actually started profiting from this war continuing. That's a part of the story that deserves its own real space.
