New Jersey’s summer flounder season comes to a close on September 25, and while the reefs, wrecks and ocean lumps have been the place to be for targeting keepers in recent weeks, don’t forget about the inlets and “choke points” this week as well. Plenty of bait out back, including peanut bunker and finger mullet, which along with acres of rainfish are moving out for their migratory run. We have a 13-pound Delaware doormat (9:20) taking top fish honors of the week, good timing with the 13.5-pounder on this week’s digital weekly edition of The Fisherman.
