The Fisherman’s “Next Cast” Weekly Podcast por Jim Hutchinson, Jr., Matthew Broderick, Dave
Notas del episodio
There was a strong increase in sea bass action across much of the region this week, and knotheads like this one displayed by Eileen Cavanaugh of Breachway Bait & Tackle, have been much more common over the past week to 10 days. The striper bite has remained hot, along the Boston South Shore and between Newport and Block Island, but sharks have become a major nuisance in Rhody and Connecticut waters. Offshore, the bluefin have been scattered and finding rec-sized fish has been a challenge. Fluking has been hot and cold, but the waters around Nantucket remain the most consistent for flatfish hunters. With a picture-perfect fishing weekend on tap, there’s no excuse not get out there to chase your favorite saltwater species!
