Meta's Muse Ships With a Second AI Watching It

Four separate releases this week placed the controls on AI agents outside the model itself. Meta's new Muse agent runs inside a sealed-off computer environment with a second 'Sentinel' agent reviewing its actions before they reach the internet; Google open-sourced Artemis for Android automation and shipped a Gemini variant built for finding and patching software vulnerabilities; and Chrome moved to a two-week update cadence, citing an AI-changed security landscape.
