There is undoubtedly some fascinating encounters, with some seeds in potential danger in getting knocked out in the first round. In other news, Krzysztof Ratajski had a stellar weekend winning the European Darts Open, and Cameron Menzies and Gabriel Clemens won PC's events. Damon Heta had a great weekend as Danny Noppert copped some backlash online through some keyboard warriors. Adam 'Peek' Leek made history for himself, qualifying for the Hungarian Darts Trophy through having making the Top 20 in the ET11 Qualifier. The boys had a special guest today with Shane making his 9-Dart Podcast debut to dissect all in the World of Darts this week. The best story was England winning the 2026 World Cup of Darts but it did not come without a challenge along the journey. The Aussies unfortunately got knocked out of their group losing to both the USA and Canada in a disappointing campaign. Trinidad and Tobago won their first ever game on the World Cup stage in a thrilling game against seeded nation Latvia! There was more troubles with the BladeX board as Gary Anderson and Martin Schindler provided some commentary on it in a negative light. Nijman picked up ANOTHER PC Title, as Rob Cross picked up one this morning. Heta and Leeky played very well with Leeky making a Top 16 for the very first time this year including beating Gian van Veen!
MVG Wins Nordic Darts Masters As World Cup Nears | The 9-Dart Podcast | Episode 63
Michael van Gerwen overcame some poor performances in his first couple of matches to take another World Series of Darts title at the Nordic Darts Masters. Not even an Elvis impersonator could put him off as he beat Luke Humphries in the final who took exception to whistlers in the crowd. But both Lorenzo and Josh are pumped up for the World Cup of Darts and go through group stage predictions, how many upsets could we see this year? Also, at long last, we finally have the ANZ Premier League dates and ticket information for what will be a lightly smaller edition this year. Derek Coulson is dominating at Modus, Bialecki had a huge week on the Development Tour but first Lorenzo announces a brand new project he has spent more than a year working on.
Luke Littler Wins All-Time Classic Premier League Final | The 9-Dart Podcast | Episode 62
It was an incredible finish to the 2026 Darts Premier League as every possible leg was played and the fans sure got their moneys worth. Three see-sawing contests on the night that led to the ultimate climax - another Luke vs Luke final. Luke Littler was victorious over fellow friend Luke Humphries in an exhilarating final at the O2 where an incredible last-leg decider determined the outcome in another classic between the two. Elsewhere, Luke Woodhouse prevailed in the Baltic Sea Darts Open with a great weekend of action. Jeffrey De Graaf and Ross Smith won PC events, as young Henry Coates impressed off the challenge tour making deep runs in both events. Unfortunately Damo and Leeky got knocked out in the first round although Damo did impress on the Euro Tour. Stephen Bunting Stars In Sheffield | The 9-Dart Podcast | Episode 61
Stephen Bunting finished his Premier League Campaign on a high with a superb night in Sheffield, respectfully finishing 5th overall in the league standings. After 15 intense weeks, we now head to the O2 for finals night, where one man will be victorious in front of thousands of fans in London and hold the trophy aloft. The boys predict their winners and the outcomes are interesting to say the least... Outside of the Premier League, Ross Smith won the International Darts Open with a strong weekend, the JDC & DPNZ continue their 2026 tours as Simon Whitlock will return down under for the World Series Events coming later in the year. Young Archie Self continues his great form with a weekly win at MODUS too.

In the 60th edition of the 9-Dart Podcast, Lorenzo and Josh look back at the Premier League night in Birmingham where Luke Humphries finally prevailed to take a nightly title. Another big week on and off the oche with Littler winning his 6TH Premier League Night in Leeds and now has officially qualified himself for Finals Night (not that we didn't know already lol), and Jonny Clayton will join him. Josh Rock prevailed in the 6th Euro Tour Event in 2026 at the Austrian Darts Open, having a stellar weekend! Kevin Doets was also very impressive as he continues to thrive. The Great Debate this week focused on Ricardo Pietrezko's selection for Germany at the World Cup of Darts next month. Currently struggling with Dartitis, the boys suggest that maybe Niko Springer should take his position. Danny Baggish is in hot water over a alleged match-fixing case at the MODUS Super Series, MVG & Andrew Gilding won PC Events, and the Australian Darts Association tour resumes at the Pine Darts Club this weekend.

Luke Littler goes back on top of the Premier League standings after winning a fifth nightly title in Aberdeen.
