Because winter is packing its bags fast. Down along the Gulf Coast, you're starting at 41 degrees. By 3 PM you'll climb to 62. Winds flip from north to northeast around 8 AM. Nothing dramatic. Just a pleasant afternoon shaping up. Slide south toward the Rio Grande and things get interesting. South Texas starts at 39 degrees with wind chills near 35 this morning. But by 4 PM? You're touching 70 degrees. That's a 30 degree swing in one day. Steady northeast winds around 9 miles an hour keep it comfortable. Central Texas wakes up at 39 degrees too. Winds quietly shift east to south southwest around 3 AM tonight. By 4 PM tomorrow you'll hit 65. Not bad for late February. Now up in North Texa ...
