In the next 24 hours. Nashville's about to hit 80 degrees today, tying a mark from 1910. Memphis pushes 79. Knoxville reaches 78. That Gulf air is flooding north on southwest winds gusting to 25 miles an hour. And it's bringing sticky warmth you'd expect in May.
Scattered thunderstorms fire up around noon, mainly west of I-65. Nothing severe, but keep an umbrella handy. Tonight stays mild — lows only drop to the low 60s under partly cloudy skies. That full moon might peek through if you're out late.
