Ginean has been in education for 24 years. She's taught in elementary, middle, high school, and post secondary - mainly as a math instructor. She is currently an instructional coach where much of her time is working with the beginning teachers (those with 0-3 years experience). The reason she works mainly with beginning teachers is because when she started, she didn't have the teacher education background. Ginean didn't get to learn from being a student teacher, so she had to learn by on the job training like so many now have to do.
