What does BAME mean, is it still relevant and how is it significant to me?

While the term had gained popularity over the last decade, there is now debate around whether it still accurately represents the diverse communities it seeks to encompass. Despite increasing awareness around the importance of diversity in the workplace, only a low percentage of IT companies have signed up to the Race for Work charter.
