Jesus is the cure for spiritual blindness as we will see in five elements of this passage.

1. The Questions of the Pharisees. (9:13-17)

2. The Witness of the Parents. (9:18-23)

3. The Prosecution of the Pharisees. (9:24-34)

4. The Salvation of the Blind Man. (9:35-38)

4. The Judgement of the Savior. (9:39-41)

3 Clear themes point to the main lesson of the story.

1. Temporary cost versus eternal cost.

2. The sight of the blindman

3. The blindness of the pharisees.
