We must be very careful about the conclusions we come to and the beliefs we form in life, especially about Jesus. I will prove this from the text by making three observations.

Observation #1- We can be very committed to something very wrong. (8:48-51)

Observation #2- We can appeal to authority that would not agree. (8:52-56)

Observation #3- We can make drastic decisions on false assumptions. (8:57-59)
