Paige - Hypocrite

TĀMAKI MAKAURAU, NEW ZEALAND (Sep 11, 2026) - Auckland singer-songwriter Paige is entering a new era with the release of ‘Hypocrite’, a fun, energetic introduction to the artist’s evolving R&B/pop sound. Playful and self-aware, ‘Hypocrite’ embraces the contradictions that come with being human, taking ownership of our imperfections rather than taking ourselves too seriously. The track marks a fresh sonic direction for Paige, leaning further into the R&B influences that have long been woven through her songwriting while retaining her signature soulful vocals, smooth harmonies and infectious pop sensibility. Oni Kidman - Fragile Little Egos

For Oni Kidman - Fragile Little Egos placed third in the Unpublished category of the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) 2025, making Kidman the most successful Aotearoa songwriter of the 2025 competition. The same song also saw Kidman getting as far as the ISC semi-finals in the Pop/Top 40 category. Kidman's Dad, renowned songwriter/musician/producer Rikki Morris, secretly entered 'Fragile Little Egos' into the 2025 International Songwriting Competition – so its success came as a huge surprise to her. Oni Kidman releases her candid new EP If These Walls Could Talk ...featuring International Songwriting Competition prizewinner 'Fragile Little Egos'.

Jordan Hunter Hyland

By day, Jordan Hunter Hyland works as a doctor in Auckland. Outside the hospital, he's spent a lifetime writing songs. Now, after years of balancing medicine with music, the 28-year-old is introducing himself as one of New Zealand's most compelling new indie singer-songwriters with the announcement of his debut EP Waste. We'll chat with Jordan and hear the title track from the EP.

Kirsten Morrell

Kirsten Morrell is probably best known for her sparkling career as lead vocalist and co-songwriter for Goldenhorse, a band who became a household name in Aotearoa. After Goldenhorse called it a day in 2007, Morrell remained active in the music world, and has recently released her new album Morrellium. The crafting of Morrellium began in London, “after my friend Alan Gregg (The Mutton Birds) and I went for a walk one day. I was at a crossroads, and he said, ‘permission to start writing again Kirsten’. Stewart Pedley (From Clay EP)

From the opposite end of the country, we speak with Stewart Pedley from the Coromandel, about his newest solo EP - From Clay. This prolific songwriter and performer, explores his creativity through solo work, a duet project and a punk rock trio. During this chat, Stewart talks about the organic nature of this EP - both the songwriting and the recording process, in the historic Hauraki House hall of Coromandel Town with producer Matt Sephton.
