Dixon Violin
Few artists have done it as successfully as Dixon when it comes to creating new music genres. The former technology leader and symphony violinist invented a new way of making music with his 5-string electric violin. Armed with his unique looping system, he creates a live one-person symphony, improvising at each of his over 1,000 North American concerts. While the Dixon Violin may be a relative innovation in the music world, the man behind the music has been performing for over a decade. Inspired by a festival, he pursued his dream full-time, leaving behind his distinguished career and reaching for something new. The result was the Dixon Violin, a truly inspired invention that fuses old-world classical music with cutting-edge technology. The Dixon Violin has gained a reputation as one of the world's most unique and innovative musical instruments. Dixon has played at some of the biggest music festivals in North America, including Electric Forest, where he has been a regular fixture. But what makes the Dixon Violin so unique? For one, Dixon can create a live symphony by himself, using his electric violin and looping system. The result is a genre-breaking sound that's both familiar and entirely new. What's most impressive about Dixon's performances is his powerful personal message. He doesn't want to make music but wants those who listen to feel something. He is on a quest to find as many experiences of feeling as he can, whether from music, words, lovemaking, or festivals.

Live Interview with Amie Burke, Lori Kurkowski, John Dewar, Myles De Leeeuw, Randy Lyn, and Daniel Graves on set of Ants In the Hall improv show. They discuss the show, their background, what makes them funny, and more. Their focus this night was on Nellie Pope. According to the book Wicked Women of Detroit, Nellie was a good-sized woman: 6'4" and 250 pounds. Likened to an Amazonian woman's structure, this attracted local barber William Brusseau. The two began a relationship, but the problem was – Nellie was already married to one of Detroit's prominent doctors, Horace Pope. Whether Nellie had genuine feelings for Brusseau is questionable, as it appears in retrospect that she gave him sex in exchange for particular favors. Including murdering her husband. She fueled the fire by making up stories about her husband's cruelty, but she wanted to collect on his insurance policy.
