Have you ever noticed how easily we can become focused on what the enemy is doing—his attacks, temptations, lies, distractions, and accusations?The enemy wants our attention because what captures our attention can eventually influence our thoughts, emotions, choices, and faith. Scripture repeatedly calls us to keep our eyes on God rather than becoming preoccupied with the enemy.
The goal of this study isn't to give Satan more attention. In fact, it is the opposite: we learn how to recognize his tactics without making him the focus.“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
